Green Rally April 26th, 2009
We had 9 cars on the run, the weather was perfect, and the roads were great. Thanks to Pete and Astrid for the 100 plus hours put into organizing the run; John (Master of Ceremonies) and Tara should also be commended for all their hard work. Special thanks and appreciation to Pete and John for all their hard work in personally making the awards and raffle ticket prizes. Job well done.
The Green Rally started at Spencer Road in Langford, took us around to Millstream Park, a loop through Metchosin and Sooke, then to Shawnigan Lake, Cowichan Bay, Maple Bay to Crofton. The final leg brought us to the Timberlands Pub in south Nanaimo (Cassidy) through Yellow Point and Cedar for the awards and lunch.
It was a great day!
