Island Wine Tour

June 28^th

 

The Wine Tour was held on Sunday, June 28.  There were 17 cars taking part in the run. The weather was absolutely perfect and, hopefully, all enjoyed themselves.  The first stop was 'Silverside' winery where all enjoyed tastes of delectable fruit wines. The lunch stop was at the 'Glenterra' winery where a buffet sandwich table was set out for us. The food was very good. Our comedy act for the day was presented at the 'Divino Winery', where winemaker Joe treated all to a sample of many wines. The final winery was 'Rocky Creek' and Linda explained a little about their wine production before treating all to samples of excellent award winning wines.
