Casinos ~ Cold Stone Tour June 18th ~ 22nd
What can we say... definitely a unique combination ~ Casinos with Cold Stone Ice Creameries. We traveled to Smokey Point for Angel of the Winds Casino, then south to Auburn for the Muckleshoot Casino, over to Eastern Washington to the Mill Bay Casino in Chelan, and finally back through the North Cascades to Skagit. Of course there were ice cream stops in Smokey Point, Auburn, and Windthrop.
On our way to Lake Chelan, we stopped in Wenchentee for lunch and met up with some long time friends of Bruce and Wendy's ... Dennis and Cindi. To our surprize, they too, now own a 2006 Black Miata. Thanks Dennis and Cindi for leading us the "long way around" to Chelan and staying at the motel with us even though you live in Chelan. It was a pleasant surprize. We look forward to sharing travels with you again as we've missed our "road adventures" together since our motorcycling days ceased in 2000.
The Casinos were not necessarily friendly for anyone, but the ice cream creations were surperb!
