Backroads to Bavaria

Club Miata Vancouver Island was well represented at this year's gathering in Leavenworth, Washington. This biannual event is hosted by the great folks of the Western Washington Miata Club.

 

The town is nestled amongst fully treed mountains and is decorated as a traditional German town. Hence, the event is called "Back Roads to Bavaria". The weekend includes several scenic runs, a show and shine and other fun events. It also coincides with Oktoberfest. Lots of costumes and fun hats are everywhere.

 

Our club is proud to be the only one that had all members sporting our festive hats at the closing banquet. If you haven't attended, put it on your calendar for October 2012.
